Hiresecure Loss & Damage Waiver
What does Hiresecure Cover?
- Accidental loss or damage anywhere in UK, including whilst in transit.
- Fraudulent hires, theft, vandalism/malicious damage.
- Owned & cross-hired equipment.
- Cover provided up to £100,000 any one claim. No single article limit.
What Is A Loss & Damage Waiver?
When you, the Customer arranges a Hire, you have the option of taking standard hire conditions or selecting a Loss & damage Waiver (subject to an additional cost).
By selecting the Waiver, you, the customer, agree to an alteration to the Terms & Conditions of Hire, which effectively removes most of the terms through which we would pursue you, the Customer, for recovery, following loss or damage to the equipment that we have hired to you.
This is not an insurance product that you, the Customer, purchases, but a contractual arrangement which removes your responsibility in the event of loss or damage to the hired equipment.

For a mere 15% + VAT of the cost of the hired equipment (excluding delivery and sales items), our Plant Hire Insurance covers the full value of the equipment you’ve rented. This removes any uncertainties about the sufficiency of your existing business insurance or its coverage of hired equipment. By opting for our insurance, you gain the confidence that, in the unfortunate event of damage or loss, the claims settlement process will be expedited, minimising disruptions to your project.
