Hiresecure Loss & Damage Waiver
What does Hiresecure Cover?
- Accidental loss or damage anywhere in UK, including whilst in transit.
- Fraudulent hires, theft, vandalism/malicious damage.
- Owned & cross-hired equipment.
- Cover provided up to £100,000 any one claim. No single article limit.
What Is A Loss & Damage Waiver?
When arranging a hire, you, the Customer, have the option to choose between standard hire conditions or a Loss & Damage Waiver (available at an additional cost).
By selecting the Waiver, you agree to a modification of the Hire Terms & Conditions, which effectively limits most of the circumstances under which we would seek recovery from you in the event of loss or damage to the equipment we have hired to you.
It’s important to note that this Waiver is not an insurance product that you purchase. Instead, it is a contractual arrangement that releases you from responsibility should loss or damage occur to the hired equipment.

For instance, for a mere 15% + VAT of the cost of the hired equipment (excluding delivery and sales items), our Plant Hire Insurance covers the full value of the equipment you’ve rented. As a result, this eliminates any uncertainties regarding the sufficiency of your existing business insurance or its coverage of hired equipment. By choosing our insurance, you gain the confidence that, in the unfortunate event of damage or loss, the claims settlement process will be expedited, thereby minimising disruptions to your project.
Furthermore, our Plant Hire Insurance is a highly cost-effective solution, providing a layer of protection that goes beyond standard coverage. We recognise that unforeseen circumstances can occur; thus, our goal is to ensure that you’re fully prepared for any eventuality.
